Times Flies!

My little Braelee Bug is growing up so fast! She turned 18months in february...i cant believe she is that old now! She is such a funny little character. Her favorite movie ever is Rio. She wants to watch it all the time and if im watching a show i want to watch she will walk up to the dvd player and turn it on and say Mommy RIO! She is obsessed with dancing...during Rio she just shakes her butt! its so hilarious...she loves the songs on Rio so much we actually bought her the sound track so now everytime we get in the car she says RIO! Its so funny to watch her dance in her carseat. She also has such a little attitude...if someone does something she doesnt want them to do she says "NOT COOL" and rolls her eyes. Man has she mastered the rolling of the eyes!

Yesterday we went up to the University of Utah to the graduation fair. We got dereks cap and gown! He graduates with his Bachelors degree in Business Accounting on May 4th! Im so proud of him and its crazy to finally see the end of school coming! He still has to get his Masters in Accounting which will only be 2 semesters so that will go by really fast! This winter he did an intership with an Accounting firm and they offered him a job when he graduates with his Masters so its nice to know that derek has a great job a year before hes even done with school! He is the hardest worker and i couldnt be more proud!

Im going to try and do better about updating my blog this year! Lets hope I can do it :)

Bear lake is coming soon!

Next Friday we are heading to my grandpas condo in bear lake! We have been going to this place since I was born. I don't think I have ever had a summer without going to bear lake. Except last year I was 9 months pregnant and it was so hot and Derek wanted to save his time off for when the baby came. I can't believe that was a year ago! But anyways going to bear lake is somethin I look forward to all year. Boating and laying on the beach, swimming pool, fourwheeling, etc. It's just so much fun and I'm so excited for braelee to experience bear lake in the summer! Nothing better then spending a whole week with my family! There tends to be drama sometimes but I'm hoping everyone will act like grown ups and just have a good time! We got braelee a new life jacket so we could take her on the boat. I looked everywhere for a pink one cuz the other infant ones were so boyish and I finally found one at a marine store in riverdale! I was so excited! the count down has begun only 6 days until BEAR LAKE! I hope it comes fast! And I just can't wait for the fourth of July its one of my favorite holidays and braelees outfit is prob he cutest thing ever!

Mothers Day in Moab!

For mothers day we were able to go up to Moab with my mom and a lot of our family. It was our first time going to Moab and we had so much fun! It was so nice to get into warm weather because home was so cold around that time. It was in the 90's in Moab! It was heavenly. We got to go check out the Arches National Park and it was so fun driving around to all the arches and hiking up to see them. Braelee is so funny...we didn't want her to get burnt so we had a sun hat and her sunglasses on her and she kept them on the whole time without touching them! We also went to check out like the canyon part of Moab. I cant remember what it is called but it was so awesome! We were so high up when i looked down i would have this chill go through my body the height was scaring me! It was so cool to see though. Another fun part was just walking down main street to all the shops. We bought some cute Moab shirts. But Moab was a blast and i cant wait til Braelee is a little older and we can take her back!

Easter Weekend

Dereks family has a ranch out in Callao UT...I know you probably have never heard of it. I never knew it existed until i met derek. Its pretty much in the middle of nowhere but it is so much fun and it awesome time to spend with the family. The currently have it up for sale and so we were sad to think this is the last easter we will spend out there. We took tons of pictures and my step dad mike took some gorgeous pics of Braelee out on the ranch. We will have lots of good memories out in callao and im glad Braelee got to experience it even though she wont remember it! But thats why you take pictures right?
